Frequently asked questions

CBA programs may include short modular lessons, knowledge checks, applied assignments, readings, webinars, and facilitator support. Each program is organized around defined learning outcomes and includes assessment activities appropriate to the program.

A CBA certificate documents successful completion of a CBA education program. IRRCB professional certification is a separate credentialing process with independent eligibility and competence-assessment requirements.

CBA provides education and certification preparation. IRRCB independently administers professional certification. Completion of a CBA program does not confer or guarantee IRRCB certification.

Questions about IRRCB eligibility, examinations, certification decisions, credential verification, or recertification should be directed to the International Risk & Resilience Certification Board (IRRCB) through its website. CBA can provide education and preparation but does not make IRRCB certification decisions.

CBA online programs are designed for current desktop and laptop computers, and most modern tablets, with a reliable internet connection.

  • A current, updated browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari
  • Stable broadband internet for video, webinars, and online assessments
  • Speakers or headphones (and a microphone/webcam when required for live sessions or identity verification)
  • Ability to view PDF documents and complete online forms and assignments

If you need a reasonable accommodation related to technology or assessments, contact us and select Learner Support or Accessibility / Accommodation when available.

CBA education certificates document successful completion of defined CBA program requirements, including required learning activities and summative assessment where applicable.

A CBA education certificate is not an IRRCB professional certification, does not require recertification during its stated certificate term, and is not a license or guarantee of employment.

CBA may correct or revoke a certificate only when the original award was improper—for example due to fraud, identity misrepresentation, academic misconduct affecting program requisites, or administrative/scoring error.

For service complaints, assessment appeals, or enrollment questions, use the contact form and select the closest reason (for example Complaint/Appeal, Learner Support, or Billing/Enrollment).

Detailed student policies—including attendance/engagement, satisfactory progress, cancellation/refund, academic integrity, and grievance procedures—will be published in a Catalog & Student Policies hub. Until that hub is live, our team can provide the current controlled policy language upon request.
