The Center for Business Acceleration supports existing employers in providing Apprenticeships, which includes both academic education and On-the-Job Learning (OJL) components, to Veterans as they seek careers and provide opportunities for employers to build a qualified workforce. 

The scope of the Apprenticeship Programs is to facilitate the employment of Veterans with blindness or significant disabilities and other persons that are blind or have significant disabilities through opportunities programs such as AbilityOne, Community Rehabilitation Centers or other (community/competitive) employment options and; Establish an Apprenticeship Program for people that are blind or have significant disabilities requiring workplace supports and/or accommodations for successful completion.

Selection procedures for each occupation for which sponsor intends to train apprentices are the same. Each application will be reviewed and contacted if approved, denied or if more information is required. After your application is submitted, register as a sponsor and submit the necessary documents for review.
